We cover project planning as well as County permitting of applications and submittals prior to the project build. Upon County approval and execution of project building, we are exceptionally organized and experienced in site preparation, materials orders and delivery staging, phases of building production, phases of organization of demolition, coordination of grading and concrete slabs, rough-in framing through to enclosure and finish production.

ELM has engaged in many restorations and remodels over the years. Has a methodical approach to phases of the demolition and reconstruction , always maintaining efficiency and site organization with project management.
Skilled in project management and using modern software, ELM is able to help the client with design clarity and digital reviews of the projects, along with data used for the critical path method of phases of the builds, focused on quality and control during the execution of each phase. Review of the project with the client at ‘post project’ is equally important to remain close to our clients needs and connection for their dream project upon closure.
ELM has engaged in much joinery in his journey and built furniture, cabinetry, doors and loves to integrate the love of fine finish into every project for the sakes of fine woodworking perfection.

A Strong Foundation
Edward Lorico-Minchin (ELM) was born and raised in a small village in rural England. Working with his family, he was immersed in agriculture. From an early age, he was exposed to heavy farm equipment machinery, harvesting agricultural crops, animal and land management, and breeding game fowl. This environment provided ELM with thorough carpentry and trades skills, safety knowledge, and instilled a hard-working ethic in him that has never wavered.
As a child, ELM also discovered his love for the ocean, which led him to a professional water sports coaching career. As he worked with others, he developed excellent people skills and realized his deep enthusiasm for seeing and inspiring growth in his students and close companions. Simultaneously, Ed stayed connected to his trades skills as he attracted local masonry work to provide extra income.
The Next Chapter: Maui
In 2001, ELM’s passion for the warm ocean led him to emigrate to Maui, Hawaii. On Maui, he has risen to the top in the carpentry industry while building luxury homes and designing custom projects for Maui General Contractors.
With consistent hard work over 25 years, his “do-it-all” approach has become a journey encompassing leading his small team of skilled tradesman and subcontractors in producing turn-key finish projects with very satisfied clients who seek his general contractor services again and again.
Combining his studies of project management with Villanova University in 2011 with hands-on experience earned during the recession, he has gained exceptional knowledge in maintaining construction project schedules and has proven results in budget control. With a deep and thorough knowledge of general building, ELM possesses and applies a sophisticated clinical approach to custom designs and problem solving. As such, he consistently leads his team in executing efficient, clean, and detailed quality projects for his clients.
Leadership in Action
ELM has followed his passion to build and taken his love of organization and business to the next level.
Utilizing his teaching background, he leads local young tradesmen in the community and inspires them to seek growth opportunities and gain independence in pursuing their own specialty licenses under his supervision as a Maui general contractor.
As an industry and community leader, ELM is often seen volunteering as a speaker at workshops for the Work Force college and UH Maui Community College. He is passionate about encouraging local youth to run their own successful businesses and gain their own independent licenses.
ELM is a proud parent of two children. He lives with his family and animals in Wailuku, Maui. His 16 year old son aspires to be in the U.S. Air Force and already flies planes with Civil Air Patrol. His 13 year old daughter is a state champion gymnastics athlete. She has a love of animals and has big visions to become a veterinarian.
